Alexis Morgan

 Alexandra Morgan Carrasco, born Alexandra Patricia Morgan on July 2, 1989 She is an American professional soccer player. She plays as a striker for San Diego Wave FC in the National Women's Soccer League. The league is the highest women's soccer level in the United States and also captains the United States women's national team. She was a co-captain of the United States women's national soccer team with Carli Lloyd and Megan Rapinoe between 2018 to 2020. After graduating early from the University of California, Berkeley where she was a player with the California Golden Bears, Morgan was selected as the top pick in the 2011 WPS Draft by the Western New York Flash. There, she made her professional debut and played in the team's win of the league title. Morgan was only 22 at the time and the youngest player in the national team for the FIFA Women's World Cup 2011. The team finished second. She scored the match-winning goal against Canada in the 123rd minute of the semi-final game at the 2012 London Olympics. She was able to finish 2012 with 21 and 28 goals. assists, joining Mia Hamm as the only American woman to score 20 goals and offer 20 assists.Alexis Alexis
